Positive test but low hcg levels... advice?

Hi ladies,

I’m not sure which group to post in and I know there are strict rules so hopefully it’s the right place!

I had a positive pregnancy test (clear blue) 13 days past retrieval. I went in for my beta the following day and it was positive - it was 48. Went back two days later and it went up but only to 71. They want me to come back in two more days and see if it’s rising or falling.

Anyone have experience with this? My gut tells me this isn’t viable and it’s a looming chemical. However obvious symptoms like cramping or bleeding. Any idea how long it takes to resolve / have a definitive answer?
