Is my nipple okay?

Question

Daughter has jaundice so we are breast feeding and now pump, however after pumping I noticed these pockets of milk on the side of my nipples where I once had nipple piercing holes? Ny husband and I don’t want to use this nipple if it could cause damage and now my daughter won’t latch! Any advice?!!

have you checked that the flanges fit? When pumping there's vacuum, so it's nomale for the tissue to swell(for some quit a bit).
