My 21 month old still nurses a few times a day, mostly as comfort and shows no signs of wanting to wean.

But I’m hitting that point with breast tenderness that I don’t know how I’m going to continue!(I’m about 6 weeks along with my 2nd).

I had HORRIBLE breast pain throughout my first pregnancy, and it seems like I’m on track to experience it again.

I’ve even developed a milk blister in the last couple of days, which I haven’t dealt with since my son was about 5 months old. I’m assuming it’s hormone related, but am already wondering if things are just going to get worse with the pain/tenderness because of continued nursing.

Any mamas with similar experiences? Any advice for coping with the pain or making the decision to wean?
