Birthcontrol and no period?

Okey so I’m on birthcontrol and I had my period last month when it was time for the last row of pills this month I’m on the 3rd day of those pills and still haven’t started and my doctor isn’t open until Monday..so any advice or what could be the reason why it hasn’t started would be greatly appreciated

If you had sex, I would take a test. Also it will help you to stop worrying. But it is also possible to not get your period after taking pills for a while. I was on the pill for 12 years and every once and a while I wouldn’t have a period. But even if you’re not pregnant and you don’t have your period it really isn’t a cause for concern. It’s not medically necessary to have a period. There are even three month packs where you don’t have your period until the end of three months.

It can take a few months for ur body to adjust to being on (or off) birth control, so irregularities are normal during that time. Plus, one of ways hormonal birth control works is by thinning the uterine lining, which can sometimes result in little to no bleeding. So, regardless, skipping a withdrawal bleed/“period” is normal while on birth control.
