Hip, lower back, and lower Abdominal pain

This is my first pregnancy and I have no clue what to expect. I have been having a lot of pain in my hips, lower back, and lower abdominal area, is this normal? I have had people tell me that it’s normal, it helps some to put a heating pad in my back and hips but this not a long lasting or a complete fix.
