Breastmilk supply different with each baby?

I was unable to breastfeed my first child. My milk never came in. Id pump 5-6 hours out of the day only to collect a grand total of 2 ounces. He also had trouble latching. I am pregnant again and would love to breastfeed but im worried and dont want to get my hopes up. 
Does your supply change with each baby or will i likely be dry again?

Contrary to popular belief, it’s actually exceedingly rare for a mom to not have enough milk. The way we “think” breastfed babies should act, and the way they do act, are two entirely different things, leading many women to stop early. Were you ever sized for flanges properly? That can make a huge difference. For some women, pumping can work out well, but pumps will never get as much milk out as a baby will. Latch issues can be caused by either lip or tongue ties, which can be released easily by a doctor or dentist. And, yes, each breastfeeding journey is unique to that baby! Good luck, mama. I didn’t have a successful breastfeeding journey with my first. I only BF for 2 weeks and I didn’t have much milk because I wouldn’t latch him enough. With my second I’m almost 9 months in! No problems 😌 so definitely possible! Just be determined!
