My first letdown lasts maybe ten minutes while my twins nurse. I can tell by the non-stop drinking and swallowing. After about ten minutes they stop and get really frustrated. I have noticed they might be waiting for another letdown. However it usually takes another ten minutes before another letdown happens. That seems excessive and all three of us are impatient. Are they getting enough to eat with the one letdown? How can I make the next letdown happen faster? It seems backwards to go back to thirty minutes nursing sessions??? Twins are 3.5 months.
