why does it hurt when i pee after sex ?

so for the past few months it hurts while my bf and i are having sex and then after when i go to pee. the pain varies on if i feel like i can tough it out when we're doing it or i need to stop. i've seen my gyno twice now. first time she thought it was a uti but the test came up negative. next time i came in because the symptoms got worse and my vagina was so itchy. that time she thought it was a yeast infection (type a i think? which she said is harder to detect). she prescribed me this cream that i was to use for three days. i did and i felt fine again. then this morning i have sex with my bf for the first time since using this cream and felt a little pain when he went down on me but i thought maybe that was in my head. when i went to pee after we did it, it hurt a bit. i went to work and had to pee while i was there and it still hurt ! idk what's going on but ik i need to get a second opinion. my patience and trust with doctors is thinning at this point, though, because i've been dealing with this for months and i just want to feel normal again. i was wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else?
