What is people issue with c sections

I was on FaceTime with one of my old friends from another state and she ask me about my birth. I told I had a c section. She gave me the stank look and said “oh”.. I asked her what was the face for and she said nothing.. I got annoyed with her and hung up the phone...

I’m sorry you had to deal with that... I’ve never had a c-section, but the way I see it, it doesn’t matter how the baby comes into the world as long as everything is done to ensure both mom and baby’s safety. It’s difficult, but try to ignore the negative comments. Try to remember, opinions are like noses. They come in all shapes and sizes and you just have to learn which ones to pay attention to and which ones to ignore. Congratulations and good luck!!!

I was scheduled for an elective c section for non medical reasons. I wanted a controlled experience and the thought of perineal damage fucking terrified me. I ended up having an emergency c section anyway due to severe pre eclampsia. I just straight up told people “it’s none of your business what I do or don’t do with my vagina 🤷🏼‍♀️”. At the end of the day there’s no easy way out and all types of birth come with risks and are essentially as safe as each other. I had a shared recovery room with a woman who had an unmedicated natural birth with severe tearing and she had a much harder recovery than I did. I’m also not a firm believer in the idea that “we were made to birth naturally” when the leading cause of death in women and infants for all of history has been childbirth. It’s only been the past 80-ish years that it’s become safe. As long as you and baby ended up healthy that’s all that matters.

I've been told before that we're not actually giving birth by having to be cut open I think is silly either way I delivered my baby same way anybody else did. I just had my third c section two weeks ago I prefer it. Long as mom & baby make it out safe shouldn't matter honestly

I ended up having a medical reason at the end of my first pregnancy, but I chose my dr because she would do elective c sections for no reason. 
Every female in my family tried to talk me out of it and they tried to say “You HAVE to experience birth! It’s so magical!”
Ya, no fam. I’ve seen the birthing videos. I think not.
They didn’t say anything after it happened thank god. I’d have snapped. I think a lot of people forgot that’s how I had my children now, other than my parents.
