Ibuprofen not working anymore?

So I’m 3 days PP! My dr is having me alternate between Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 3 hours. I’m obviously in pain still but I’d feel good enough to do things and just enjoy PP. well today, I started feeling hardcore stinging not sure if it’s just from vagina or my stitches (2nd degree). I’ve been doing everything how they instructed me to at the hospital: peri bottle, dermoplast, tucks. It stings so bad and my meds aren’t helping at all!!!!! Anything else I can take to help get rid of the pain? I’m suffering. And to think it’s barely day 3 of recovery 😔

HOT WATER
the hottest you can handle. helps bring blood to the surface and heals quicker and pain lessens.
my tub has a hose and I sit on the toilet and let myself soak for as long as I want.
try to avoid sitting, if you have to sit, lean a bit to the side and put your weight on one butt.
I had a 3rd degree, I was on pain pills 24/7 for a whole month and then just occasionally after that until about 12 weeks.

I had third degree tear and couldn’t even sit down the second week pp, yet I drove myself to the DR to make sure everything was ok cause it hurt so bad. It looked fine to her, so no infection or anything. She ended up giving me prescription pain meds which I only took twice but at least I felt better knowing it was there if really needed.

Try taking a bath with Epsom salt. It helped me a lot along with ice packs before bed.
