Selling Free Utems

So my husband and I bought new furniture and gave away our old furniture for free to a family who has told us on numerous occasions that they are struggling. Just recently they had to bug bomb their house and they told us their sofas were infested with bugs, even after the bombing. My husband and I could definitely use the extra money if we sold our old furniture but asked them if they would want them instead...Well we just saw that they are selling the furniture online for $500😡 , they're not even worth it,they lied about the store that they got "bought" them from ( store is high end). I'm just so annoyed...I understand once we give someone something they have the free will to do whatever they would like, regardless of that how would yall feel?
