First IUI on Wednesday...

I am going in for my first IUI on Wednesday. I have unexplained infertility. We’ve had I think 16 failed natural cycles and 1 failed medicated cycle. I had a hysteroscopy in September. The cycle after the hysteroscopy (which was last cycle) we started with meds. We did Femara days 3-7 and Ovidrel on day 13 with no success.

I went in for a scan on Friday (day 9) and had one follicle measuring 14mm and one measuring 17mm.

I went back in today (day 11) for another scan and the one is now at 18.1mm and the other is at 18.5mm and 7mm lining. They told me to take the Ovidrel tomorrow (Monday) night and my

IUI is Wednesday morning. I’ll be taking progesterone this time as well starting on Friday twice a day.

I’m hopeful but already prepared for another period. Did anyone have a similar situation and how did/are things panning out for you?
