Question

So I’m thinking about doing the birth control shot after I give birth in 35 days. I don’t want to get pregnant right away again lol. Just wondering wat birth control have y’all been on or on n the side effects pros n cons

I had the mirena IUD for 4 years and loved it.  I didn't have crazy side effects like I did with pills.  It took a few months for my body to adjust (had random spotting) but eventually I lost my period 🙌. I experienced no problems once it was removed and got pregnant the 1st full month of trying.  My sister in law had the shot and experienced significant weight gain and headaches with it.  Eventually she got off the shot because she couldn't stand it.
