So this morning after waking up I noticed a huge difference in my belly!! It looked so much lower and much smaller than it has been. I threw on my maternity support belt as i normally do before heading to work. An hour into my day i was feeling like i just couldnt breathe. I made adjustments to make sure it wasnt too tight but no change so I took the belt off and i just felt so much better without it. So needless to say, im pretty sure that i have dropped. Obviously im still early and you can drop weeks before labor begins so i wasn't concerned.

However, ive been reading other members postings on cervical changes and such as they near the end of the 3rd trimester and out of curiosity (because i knew what i was feeling and would do regular checks pre pregnancy while ttc to estimate ovulation) i decided to check my cervix. It was very soft! So much so that i had a hard time even reaching/distinguishing where it was.

So.....after reading what a soft cervix means during pregnancy, now im a little nervous and really hoping baby doesnt decide to come too soon. I've only had planned csections (first being twins, second single baby) so the thought of going into labor makes me very anxious. My next appointment isn't for another 2 weeks at which point I'll be 32 weeks.

Has anyone had experience with 3rd pregnancy and/or soft cervix during a cervical check? What did ob say in regards to it?
