Today I'm going to get my coil taken out, its caused several issues over the 4 years I've had it, as did the non hormonal coil I had in for a few years prior. I'm engaged and in a position where I'd like to have child, although we are waiting till my partner is in a smiliar position work wise. Looking at mid next year hopefully, which is why I'm getting the coil out now as I heard it takes time for the body to settle into a new routine again.

My question is what has it been like for people coming off the hormonal coil. Did your periods go back to the same as before, any complications etc.
