What if i don't wait one cycle?

Hello, girls! After almost a year of TTC, i got pregnant but miscarried... my dr told me to wait one cycle and after that to try again. The thing is that, due to my PCOS, my cycles ar very long and irregular so I don't want to wait like 60-80 days for my period... Has anyone been in this situation? Is there a higher chance to miscarriage again if I don't wait? Thank you!

I know it depends if you miscarried naturally vs d&c/meds and also prob how far along you are. Mine is only at 5wks so I plan to track ovulation just in a few weeks when I’d usually ovulate rather than wait and don’t think there’s anything wrong with doing that...esp if you have longer cycles like that! Tricky part would be nailing down ovulation day.

I’m so sorry that that happened. We had a D and C After our miscarriage the doctor told us to wait one cycle and that’s what we ended up doing I consider myself very lucky I ovulated fairly normally. It took me five weeks to get my period back. One of the main reasons they said they didn’t want me getting pregnant until after I had one cycle was they weren’t sure if they were to take my blood test it was from the old pregnancy or the new one. Because I remember taking pregnancy test after the surgery and still getting positives for a long time because the hCG took forever to leave my system. I really hope you guys are able to get your rainbow baby
