BBT during early pregnancy

Is your bbt ( basal body temperature) supposed to stay elevated once pregnant or is it ok if it drops. I’m scared of MC and thought that if your temp drops then that means most likely you will miscarry? Has this happpen to anyone else and still had a successful pregnancy?
