What did you drink during IVF retrieval to prevent ohss and help with bloating?

Was wondering if anyone took Cabergoline to help with ohss prior to egg retrieval? My dr said it’s supposed to help prevent it.

My doctor literally told me I wasn’t allowed to drink anything except Gatorade or Powerade for 7 days post-retrieval... not even water. It was awful.

Coconut water and salty foods tons and tons of water

I drank Gatorade but still got mild OHSS with only 11 eggs retrieved 🤷🏼‍♀️

Gatorade zero. Water. Would switch between the 2. Drank it non stop. Had mild ohss which pushed back my fresh but seemed to help get me through it.
