I had my mirena hormonal iud places in yesterday. I just have a few questions if anyone knows the answer to any or all, I’d appreciate it a lot. Thank you in advanced! 🥰

1.) did you or your partner feel the strings or have pain during sex? If pain, what did it feel like? Cramps? The string hurting? Explain pls.

2.) did you get it inserted during your cycle ? If so, did it stop that current cycle?

3.) did your periods stop all together ?

4.) which IUD do you have ? (Or had.)

5.) did you like it ? Would you recommend it?

If you did; what Did you like?

If not, what did you Not like ?

6.) how long after insertion did you have sex & how long after did your doctor tell you you’d be protected? - My OB said do not have unprotected sex for 2 weeks.
