Where are my home birth people at? Advice?

I see lots of posts about hospital births on here (my first two were unmedicated, in hospital). For this one, my third, we’re having a home birth. 
Anyone else? For those of you who’ve had a home birth before - any advice for a first time HB?

I wish I could have a home birth! Not a lot of options for homebirth after caesarean is Australia 😢 have to hire a private midwife which costs more than private OB care!

My 1st was in hospital, but was in labour for an hour and 48 minutes start to finish with no drugs or assistance (as much as I wanted drugs we didn’t have time) HAHA. So this time I want to try a home birth. Bit nervous on how it goes though.

I wish! But I have GD so most likely will be induced. He’s measuring almost 4 weeks ahead.... so hospital it is for me

I’m a FTM and still stress over the what if’s. A home birth sounds so ideal in terms of controlling your space and having a peaceful environment but having doctors and resources so close if something goes wrong is invaluable to me.
