Counter-height/space saver high chair?

Has anyone used a space saver high chair to use on a regular chair? We sit at our island for dinner, and it’s a lot taller than a normal table. I have been drooling over the Stokke Tripp Trapp for months, but today I just realized it might not be tall enough for our island! Now I wonder if it might make sense to just buy a space saver high chair that I can use on one of our bar chairs. Has anyone used one of those? What brand do you recommend? I tend to go for the more nontoxic brands. Thank you!
