CM question

Hello all, so my cycle isn’t regular since taking out my birth control (two months ago). I’ve been opk testing and never got a positive but my darkest line was on the 26th. Over the past couple of days I’ve been having ALOT of egg white CM. Like, way more than normal. I’m still taking opk tests but they’re still negative. I also took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. Could I be pregnant and just testing early? Or is my cycle just very off and I’m about to ovulate but it’s too soon for a positive opk test?
