I’m confused - what’s the difference between?

My daughter is 18 month and in a private nursery. The nursery is still called nursery up to the age of 5 there. 
However, I’ve noticed people in my area saying that their child is turning 2 and going to pre school. 
I was just wondering what the difference is? 🤷🏻‍♀️

A lot of nurseries just have pre school rooms. This is normally from 3+ (due to ratios of kids to staff) it’s more independent and more focus on EYFS learning through play. There are specific places for children called preschool but it varies depending on place. Most pre schools here are only mornings or afternoons and dont included food nappies etc.
