My mom is wanting to throw me a baby shower, but I honestly don't want one. Me and my husband are pretty well off and anything I need for my baby I can buy myself. Most of my friends aren't as well off as me and are struggling and I don't want to be like "Come to my baby shower and by me stuff". It just makes me uncomfortable and feel bad. I don't want people to feel obligated to by me stuff for a baby they didn't choose to have. Am I over thinking this?
