Sharing a room

Can opposite sex children ever share a bedroom? If yes, when does it become not ok? And if no, why? Just curious. I have a daughter and found out that I’m pregnant with a boy. Don’t really wanna move but we have three bedrooms and one is an office and due to current work situations needs to stay an office. What to do??
