Is it too much to ask for attention after a long day at school, while he’s been home playing video games and hanging out with his friend all day?

I got home and got annoyed about having to take the dog out and go to the store for toilet paper, because my boyfriend of 4 years has been home most of the day hanging out with his best friend/our roommate and playing games. He told me the dog had been whining at him for 45 minutes as he was lecturing me about getting upset and shouting at the dog to get her attention so I could take her out. I guess it’s my fault I decided to take her right when he “was getting up to take her out”. Then when we got home from the store he got on his phone and like sat away from me, I asked him to cuddle with me and he came and sat by me, still on his phone and just put his arm around me. I dealt with it for about an hour and then I just asked him for some attention, after arguing for a minute I was told that I was asking for to much.

I’m annoyed. I feel so stupid. I feel like he doesn’t give a shit about me or how I feel.

And the worst part is, this isn’t the first time this has happened. Idk what to do.
