Bloody show but still pregnant?

Has anyone lost their mucus plug and had bloody show but still remained pregnant for days/weeks? 
If you went into labor shortly after, how long did it take for labor to start?
I’m 38+1 this morning and just had my bloody show/big part of mucus plug.

I lost my plug/had bloody show two weeks ago and here I sit at 39 weeks still.  😫
