hi ftm here! i was induced oct 2 and gave birth to my beautiful girl oct 4. it was a pretty rough birth. i got 2nd degree tears and they had to use a vacuum to help her come out cause i couldn’t push her all the way out even though we could see her hair when i first started pushing. she was so close but needed a little help coming out.

anyway we’re all good now and my baby is healthy but i’ve noticed everything still looks different down and im still very sore 5wks pp. not as sore as i was in the beginning but i still cant touch the perineal area. also i started bleeding again around 4 and a half weeks even tho i had stopped bleeding when i hit 3 weeks. this time tho, the blood was red and fresh looking. at first it was there when i wiped but now i have to wear a pad. i get cramps like if i was on my period. im now 5wks pp and i already got my period? has anyone else experienced this? im still nowhere near healed down there and this morning i woke up with this on the toilet.

sorry for the picture but is this normal. also i exclusively pump cause baby never latched. i read somewhere that when you pump and not nurse you get your period quicker but all of them say after 6wks not before?
