Newborn pooping?

My little guy is formula fed.
How long should a newborn go without pooping? 
It’s 10 am not, and he last pooped around 4 pm yesterday. Normal, not normal?

My baby’s last appointment was at 5 weeks. Doctor said for formula fed to call if he goes 3 days without pooping. Anything within that time frame is fine. I was surprised since he pooped so much his first week. My son tends to poop every other day now. Sometimes he will go daily but not as often.

Perfectly normal. They poop so much at first and then it slows down. As long as it isn’t several days in a row of not going, baby is fine!
