Copper iud acne ?

I just got my copper iud placed in a week ago and ever since then I’ve had breakouts all over my face and i never break out, I’ll get one a month at the most but nothing crazy. I’m wondering if it could be related to the copper. Anyone have something similar???? Or what’s your experience with the copper iud?

The copper iud shouldn't affect the acne since it has no hormones. Did you go off a hormonal form of bc before getting the copper iud? That could definitely cause it until your body readjusts to having cyclical hormones again instead of the constant doses. Stress or changes in your eating habits could do it as well.
