NEED OPINION! What could this be ?

I’m 37 weeks 5days. What could this be ? I’m assuming some of my mucus plug ? I’ve been having a lot of period cramp pains in my lower back and stomach but nothing too much to handle. I don’t wanna stress out my boyfriend or parents about it so I thought I’d ask other mommas first . Should I wait or call my OB or L&D?

It can be from simple cervix irritation, from sex or increased blood flow. No reason to go to the hospital or suspect labor. If the bleeding gets heavy, then call your dr. But fyi even if your mucus plug fully came out, it doesn't necessarily mean labor. I lost mine in an enormous glob but still no baby for 2.5 weeks
