What your budget for Christmas?

I am curious on everybody budget for Christmas or do you just buy gifts and not care. I have to get gifts for 13 ppl in my family and my bf 2 gifts because his birthday right after Christmas. I figure a good budget would be 1500 🤷🏻‍♀️

i just buy whatever, but i buy gifts throughout the year so it's not one huge expense.

I always make a handmade gift for each family. My brother and his husband. My parents. My in-laws (mother and father, and two brothers in law). 
There is way too many expectations around gifts at Christmas and I don't enjoy the stress of hunting for "the perfect gift." 
I am an artist so each year I do something different. This year, I am making beaded wire Christmas Spiders (look up their story). They're something anyone would love and it won't cost me more than about $30 to make around 8 of them. There are people who sell kits on Etsy that shows you how to make them if you're interested...YouTube as well. They can be personalized as much as you want and they will become something to put out every holiday season :)

21 family members +2 friends +boyfriend +distant family that don’t always show (2-8people) meaning I have to make or buy a total of  24-30 presents. I’m a student with a minimum wage (majorly over staffed with few hours I can work) part time job and I’m not exactly exited for Christmas shopping.

I’m not sure really our budget but we probably spend about $1500 or more. That includes immediate family. We buy over a couple weeks before so we spend some here and there. Our girl’s birthdays are 11/11 and 11/16 so we wait till after that to start buying Christmas gifts...

We spend about $200 on each other, $100-$150 on our son (his birthday is a week after Christmas so we just get him extra Christmas presents), $20-$30 each on our nieces/nephews (3 of them) and then we do secret Santa’s for the rest of the fam. So we buy one gift for someone ranging from $50-$100
Oh and we always get my mother-in-law something $50-$200 shes on her own and nobody else ever gets her anything. And she’s always at our house from Christmas Eve into Christmas morning so we want her to be able to open something

I just buy whatever. No specific budget. 20-30 each gift for about 10 people but they get like 2 gifts... my kids get like a billion lol I’m kidding

So normally we buy for all our nieces and nephews great nieces and nephews plus our parents and our son 😬 and 2 Goddaughters. That is 19 kids plus 4 parents and our own child.
This year we decided differently as I am pregnant with our second. For one family we are giving them giant packs of batteries and a big gift card to Target. For our Goddaughters small gift, parents gift cards, plus our child one big gift and one small gift. We will probably spend around $400 this year which is very low for us.
