Hi sorry if this is a stupid question but growing up I never had the privilege of using a dishwasher and now that I finally have one I'm not sure how to use it. I'd call a family member but the only one I have is in the hospital due to COVID so Im kind of out of luck

the words above the big circle say "USE MAIN DETERGENT CUP FOR ALL WASH CYCLES. FILL FOR HARD WATER USE LESS FOR SOFT WATER"

and the ones above the small circle say "USE OPEN CUP FOR POT CLEANING AND NORMAL WASH CYCLES ONLY"

also which one is the main detergent cup?
