Question girls

So I’m planning to go back to school. I’m stuck on what to do. I been thinking about marketing. I don’t know if that’s the smartest choice due to everything going on rn. Can you girls give me any advice ? Everyone is telling me don’t go for marketing because it’s not the smartest choice and not guaranteed job. I’m kinda confused because I thought every huge business needs someone that specialist in marketing.
