Hi guys,

I currently live with my boyfriend. I’m a full-time nursing student so I don’t work. My boyfriend has a full-time job and pays all the bills. Just today, my boyfriend said he’s going to move his 22 year old brother from Georgia to Tennessee with us. Btw I’m 24 and my boyfriend is 27. I don’t agree with this and I told my boyfriend he’s being selfish. We have plans of getting married and buying a house soon. I didn’t agree to getting married, buying a house, and moving his sibling in with us. His brother currently lives with their mom but she is tired of providing for him. He doesn’t own a car so he takes her car whenever he needs/wants it and leaves her stranded at home or makes her late for work. He doesn’t help her around the house or pay bills. And to top it off, He just lost his job. I don’t want my boyfriend to take on the burden of providing for his brother. My boyfriend wants to unburden his mom but this isn’t the solution in my opinion. I refuse to live under the same roof as a grown man who disrespects his own mother. I haven’t told my boyfriend but if he moves him down to Tennessee, I’m going to break up with him. I don’t think I’m overreacting.
