So let’s start with some back story...

I’m 24, active duty, with a 7 month old. I’m a single mom. My child’s father left when I was 3 months pregnant. (Basically, long story short, I wanted him to get a job and help me around the house and he didn’t want to. So he left and moved in with his mom. Over 12 hours away.) after having my son, I got the IUD.

Now, let’s fast forward to present times...

I’ve heard of a lot of people getting pregnant with the IUD. (Well happens with pretty much any birth control because, let’s face it, they aren’t 100% effective.) I’ve been talking to/seeing a guy for a month or two now. He has a 4 year old. We just got intimate like almost a week ago. No condom. Didn’t pull out. Multiple times in like 2 days. (I know, I’m dumb. But in the moment. And I have my kid 24/7. So trying to rush while baby is still asleep. But I’m still a freaking idiot.)

Now, since getting the IUD, I haven’t really had a period in a while (which happens to a good bit of women with the IUD). When I say a while, it’s been like 4-5 months. But the past few days I’ve been kind of spotting. And it freaks me out to think I may be pregnant again. Cause I went through the first time pretty much alone. (Even the birth. And it was a rough one.)

But I will say, I’ve been completely transparent with him with EVERYTHING. Like every single thing. And I’ve Told him about the spotting and he’s reassured me several times.

I don’t have any pictures of a test or anything cause let’s face it, a week ain’t gonna show anything. But I need y’all’s words to help me. What do y’all think??
