Okay so as stated yesterday I failed the AFP test! This morning my Dr had her nurse call to make sure I was going to MFM. I said yes, & then said well on the test it says that my insulin was reported as NO! Should I tell high risk that I am in fact on insulin? She says they should see it in your chart because I see it. Okay great I hang up & she calls RIGHT BACK & was like uhm, Mrs. Wynn, were you on insulin the day of the test 🤦🏾‍♀️ I take insulin EVERYDAY! They should know that 😂 & she was okay, I had to hear it from you. How the heck did my Dr forget I was on insulin, & that being an insulin dependent diabetic (gestational) could make the numbers a little funny? I understand busy, but if you have my chart right in front of you, how? 😂😂😂 yea but my appointment is tomorrow! So just in case, y’all whisper a little prayer for my babies! I want an all clear ultrasound 😩
