Am I overreacting?

So to help understand...I've been staying at my parents house until my wedding since I'm moving overseas and my rent was up...ive been working 3 jobs to save up as much as possible before the move so I haven't been home much.

That being said, I came home from work today and was chatting to my mom etc, and my dad came in and started going off at me about how my underpants are really dirty when they go in the wash and how he had to clean them with his FINGERNAILS to get them clean!!! Funny how I've been doing my was for years and NEVER had to clean them with my fingers. So I was a bit uncomfortable tbh so I said to him if appropriate if he didn't do my laundry since I don't have that problem when washing my clothes and id rather him not be inspecting my underwear!!!

So he got extremely angry at me and stalked off all mad saying im overreacting and he was just telling me that so I could make sure they weren't as dirty, and to maybe buy some that weren't so provocative (literally they are nothing special, thongs, lacey boyshorts etc..) ...but either way I'm still very uncomfortable with all this...i feel like my dad for sure definitely doesn't need to be seeing my underpants.
