Anyone else’s baby ignore their name sometimes?

My baby responds to their name most of the time but when playing or focusing on the dogs no matter how many times I say their name they will just ignore me! They respond most of the time so I’m not super worried about it, and they smile back, make eye contact all that. Just curious if anyone else’s babies do this or if they should be responding Every. Single. Time

It really depends on the age tbh. But as long as they respond to their name like 90% of the time after about a year old, it's fine lol.

There’s always that little period where they literally hesr you they just don’t care what you have to say 😂😂

Depends on the age. I don't think my 4 month old knows his name yet. I can't remember when my 3 year old started responding to his name. But my 2 year old, who is on the spectrum, almost never responds to his name.
