My 2 week old drinks breastmilk from the bottle and we occasionally supplement formula. Her poops are a mustard color, but are very watery. She poops after almost every feeding. Sometimes there are a few “seeds” in there, too. Last week I showed the pediatrician because I was worried it was diarrhea. She said breastmilk fed babies can have watery poop and it’s fine. I’m just worried though that this is diarrhea and not normal. My first had a thicker consistency of poop with more seeds in it. I want to add she is typically producing 8-12 wet diapers a day, but as of 4:30am today, she hasn’t produced a wet diaper since 10:30 last night.
