I just want to start by saying this:

I’m not usually a complainer, but this is just flat out annoying and I need to rant..someone please tell me I’m not the only crazy one here! LOL

I got Kyleena in hopes of helping with Endo pain and insanely heavy periods. Obviously the whole contraception part is a major plus too😉

I have had Kyleena for just over a month and a half now. The pain/cramping was pretty bad the first few days but my spotting was definitely minimal. I was expecting it all to be waaay worse!! (My OBGYN put it in on the second to last day of my period...idk if that’s relevant or not)

After that first week with Kyleena all spotting and pain went away and I was so happy with it☺️

Then, another week went by and I started spotting again...my OBGYN said this would happen so I wasn’t really bothered at first.

Exactly one month after placement I had to go in to my Dr. for the one month follow up appt and for my annual. My Dr. said the ultrasound looked good, my exam was excellent and the spotting is to be expected for the first 6 months...🙄

It has been a solid month (and then some) of continuous bleeding and I’m just annoyed at this point. All of my cute underwear is ruined, tampons everyday for months on end CANNOT be good for you, my pH is outta whack, I tried a menstrual cup but cannot stomach that🤢...The list continues lol

The guy I’m seeing said it doesn’t bother him, but I still feel self conscious because him and I are still so new. Suggestions⁉️

I have always been on that fine border of being anemic, but now my anemia is pretty bad (the exhaustion and headaches are unreal).

I’m wondering if I should just get it out at this point? I’m so beyond frustrated because it seems like all this is doing is making my “periods” worse.

I am totally miserable, but I want to give Kyleena a fair chance to see if this helps with my endometriosis in the long run.

IF YOU MADE IT THIS FAR..Should I wait it out for the whole 6-12 months like my OBGYN suggests? Someone please tell me it’ll get better!!! 😕
