Hello!

At my daughter’s 2 month appointment, she got a bunch of shots. After that, all hell broke lose. We got home and it was literally NONSTOP SCREAMING. When I say screaming I mean top of her lungs blood curdling sounds like someone’s hurting her screaming. I tried everything from holding her and rocking her, playing music, singing EVERYTHING. She loves to eat and she even refused food for a solid 6 hours because she was nonstop hysterical. Finally, I had to call my mom to come over and help, which is something I have never done. She let me leave the house while she took care of her because I was so flustered and literally bawling myself from exhaustion and watching her in pain. She is due for her 4 month shots in a month and I need to know if there’s any tips to help prevent this kind of thing from happening again or if it does, the best thing I can do to keep her calm afterwards. My mom recommended asking the doctors to give her a dose of Tylenol before the shots happen. Any other ideas?
