Pregnant with an IUD?

I got the Paragard IUD 3 months ago (one month after having my son). I had the normal spotting and a normal period every month. This month I haven’t spotted at all and my period is late by 5 days. I took a pregnancy test today and it came out negative. 
Can Paragard cause me to not have a period (everything I read says I should still get it normally) or am I getting false negatives? I’ve been having some abdominal discomfort, nausea, extreme fatigue, and moodiness but chocked that up to my stomach issues paired with stress. The only time my period has been this late was when I was pregnant with my son.

Most likely it's because it takes a while for your period to fully regulate after pregnancy. It's normal to skip here and there for you to a year after pregnancy. It's almost like being a teenager getting your period for the first time. It needs time to regulate.
