Tests.. trusting a positive ?

Question

How soon do you trust a positive pregnancy test before your period? Having mild pms symptoms that of course are early preg symptoms too. Just to ease my mind I bough the cheapest test at Walgreens to get that -not pregnant- outcome and say ok period is coming in 3 days still. Well I took one last night and it showed Positive. After having the miscarriage a little over 3 months ago I’m trying to time line my ovulation with intercourse and we would have been off by a few days.. which hey things happen. But do you trust a positive when it could be soooo early on. Maybe 3 weeks. I have always known ASAP I was carrying- I have two healthy children and found out about this early with them. I’m just skeptical after our last time.. Thoughts?

I say trust your instincts! But you could definitely test again every couple of days to see if your lines progress. I actually just went through this. We had a MC last month at 5w3, did the baby dance a couple of times because I thought my body was already ovulating. I felt some slight symptoms, took a test just for fun - only for it to come out positive. I took 4 more, then called my doctor. I just got my blood work back saying it’s a new pregnancy 💕 It’s definitely worth persuing. You could still even just request bloodwork just to see too, right?

Thank you, I will test again a day or so after my missed period. Just have to make myself wait 2 more days. I’m afraid to call the doctor and start all of this again as it all happened so fast in the last one. Excited turned into worry turned into defeat over a months time
