My best friend kissed me ... and now he’s ghosting me

My friend and I have known each other for about 8 years now .. we hung out 2 weeks ago and we were watching a movie, we started cuddling and then he kissed me ... then when he was going to take me home he got on top of me and we started making out ... I was surprised but honestly I’ve been waiting 😂🥴

Well it almost led to more but his dad called so that ended the moment ... he took me home and everything was good

Well we were fine the next day but now ... nothing

When I do text him he’s dry and leaves me on open or delivered.. before the kiss we would talk all the time! He’s not texting me goodmorning or goodnight anymore ... no checking in on me during the day... nothing

I’m so confused and left wondering what the fuck happened?

Well my question is ... should I text him and ask him what the kiss meant ? And why he has been so distant afterwards? Does he have feelings and need time to think about what happened?

Why kiss me and ruin our friendship if you don’t have feelings for me
