Which doctor removes rectal skin tags?

I have contacted a colorectal surgeon referred by my PCP but the appointment is two months away. I was wondering if I could find another doctor who has an earlier availability. I’ve looked up other colorectal surgeons but only a few are on my insurance! What other doctors remove and specializes in rectal skin tags? Thanks

I’d call your gyno! Remember, OB-GYNs are technically in a surgical specialty. They will likely do it, but just call first to ask. And if you don’t have a gynecologist yet, Id say you need to get one anyway. Remember, Pap smears start at 21 at a maximum! 😄

Hmm you might be able to do primary care bc that’s not invasive. I was able to go to primary care for hemorrhoids that were internal. I didn’t need anything done though, just change up diet etc. But definitely ask a general physician, could be quicker and cheaper
