TMI. Lump on foot after stitches healed

Sorry in advance, my feet are in really bad need of a callous scrub but I cut my foot open pretty bad and had stitches in February this year, for some reason I can’t upload a pic of that. Everything healed accordingly and as good as it can get (I’ll never be a foot model because I have bunions lol). Oddly about a few months after the stitches came out and everything healed this odd lump popped up. It is hard and slightly painful (not bad at all) and dumb me tried to take a needle to it thinking I could squeeze whatever it was out, but that didn’t work.. any thoughts? Obviously not over the top concerned and don’t care to take an unnecessary trip to the doctor during these crazy times, just wondered if anyone knows what it might be.
