I Can Finally Post My Story 🥰💙👶🏽 My 37 Week Induction Story

I’m extremely tired & still in pain while typing this

I found out i was pregnant the beginning of March 2020 with my last period being February 7th 2020. When i went in for my first ultrasound baby wasn’t growing & they thought i was having a miscarriage ...thank God it wasn’t ... my due date went from November 13th to December 3rd. During my pregnancy i developed Gestational Hypertension & had to see MFM ( the high risk doctors) it was a struggle for me going to the doctors 4 times a week by the time i got 26 weeks. My induction got scheduled back in August 2020 For November 15th 2020.

On November 15th 2020 at 7:30pm me & my husband arrived to the hospital i was only 2cm dilated 20% effaced section -4. My induction started at 11:00pm my doctor started it off by having me take Cervadil orally. By 3am my contractions were strong and she didn’t want to give me a second dose until things slowed down. By 7am i started my second dose & my husband & i decided to take a walk around the hospital & do some squats. Once again my contractions were coming strong so they didn’t do a 3rd dose but my cervix wasn’t changing so my doctor decided to do a membrane sweep & insert the Flo Bulb 😩 once she did the sweep i was bleeding out mucous plug / bloody show like crazy it wouldn’t stop..... by the time i got the Flo Bulb was Monday afternoon. It had to stay in for 12 hours. At 3am on Tuesday my doctor removed the Bulb and i was 4cm 25% Effaced & -4 station so we started Pitocin. All day on Tuesday i did Pitocin and let me tell you guys i was in so much pain they kept giving me pain meds through my IV and they didn’t want me to get the epidural once again me & my husband went walking , dancing & squatting.... later that night the new doctor on stopped my induction due to no progress from 4cm and tried to send me home at 10pm at night telling me to take it easy and relax In my bed and to come back on thanksgiving 11/19/20. I started crying due to the fact how she was saying if i felt like she was being disrespectful. I told her no and my husband even voiced his concern so they kept me and said they were going to give me another dose of Cervadil and start Pitocin at 2am. I started the Cervadil and the doctor put it into my Cervix. At 2am i woke up in extreme pain i look over at my IV pole and seen she had my Pitocin going i couldn’t sleep the contractions were so painful & coming 2mins apart lasting 1 minute each. The new doctor came and checked me and said i didn’t make any changes and was still 4cm 25% Effaced & -4 station & that i couldn’t get the epidural i literally was crying for one. Soon as she left out i was sitting on the bed crying to my husband next thing you know my stomach started to feel upset & i heard “Pop” and the whole bed begin to get soaked i call the nurse and told her my water broke she literally tried to tell me it was not possible and how it’s just my bloody show she e en took the mat from underneath me and seen it and kept on telling me it’s just my bloody show BUT IT WASNT she called the doctor the doctor can in and checked me and saw that my water really broke. But baby was only -3 station by this time and his heart rate begins to drop with my contractions. It was 4:30am by this time. At 5:30 i got my epidural and at 6:30 i told my doctor it felt like i had to push she said no not possible she came and checked me i was 8 CM she went to get my doctor which took her a while at 7:40 my doctor was finally available at this point already begins to push ... she kept telling me to stop and i told her no & i couldn’t stop my body was making me so she checked me and is head was right there. At 7:46am on November 18th 2020 my Cory Avery Williams Was born into the world weighing 6 pounds 15oz 19.5 Inches i am so in love he already had two bottles & already poop and peed i just have to pee and poop now but after 58+ hours of a induction and 3 in the half hours of active labor it was worth it
