I’m in love with my ex. He is my first time and my first love. The only guy I’ve ever been with in a serious way. We broke up

For a while and got back together. We were happy. Then randomly he dumps me to go live his life. I get that we’re only 18 but he says he wants to sleep with slot of girls n live this bachelor life before he gets serious with a relationship. We to this day maintain a sexual relationship. We’ve met each other’s families and we talk everyday. We don’t use condoms because I’m on the pill. And he promises he isn’t sleeping with anyone while he is sleeping with me. I think I should stop our sexual relationship and remove him from my life for my own sense of peace. But it hard to do so when i love him. We do have a great friendship. I just need relationship advice because my mother’s advice changes from time to time.
