Hello ladies,

Today I’m around 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I had 3 clear positive tests 3 days after my missed period. Last night I noticed a slight bit of pink on the tissue after I wiped and today the bleeding has become a lot more period like. I have cramps now and I have a few tiny clots in the blood. Sorry for TMI, i would just like some advice really. I’m only 8 months PP, this pregnancy wasn’t planned but we were over the moon that we thought we’d be giving our daughter a sibling.

I spoke to the Doctor today (UK) and due to COVID the are trying to put off early scans unless 100% required, which I understand as I had one with my daughter at 5 weeks and they couldn’t confirm viability as it was too early and it just made me anxious for 7 weeks and they said if I’m bleeding they won’t get an accurate scan. But anyways, they’ve said as it’s so early they think the pregnancy will just clear away itself and in a couple of weeks to contact the GP and he will want to test me just incase I haven’t had a miscarriage. She said obviously any heavy bleeding (more than 2 sanitary pads filled in an hour) and unmanageable pain to contact a doctor or 111 service. I also don’t have symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy apparently.

How long until I can TTC again? Has anyone had any positive after bleeding like this? I just feel devastated and so failed by my body :(
